Fasthenk65
Dear all, Question: how much time does it take to convert a 9mm set-up (1050 + Mark7) to a .40 set up? Club is considering a 1050 + mark 7 for producing 9mm and .40... answers highly appreciated! regards!

You won't have to change any sensors. They will all stay on the press.

Tnx Sgadyscott999 were just a bit nervous since were reloading old school now ( separate decapping and sizing on rockchucker, hand priming then the rest on Hornady LNL...) Big investment for club, and we need .40 and 9mm..... regards, Edited November 26, 2017 by Fasthenk65

I only have the deprime and primer level sensors and you wouldn't need to adjust those. I can't speak for the bullet or powder ones though
rowdyb
Are you also asking about the time to change over all of the components on the 9mm set up on the press itself over to .40? Because that is seriously more than 20 minutes.
dansedgli
Surely components dont count. I need to adjust my bullet sensor between 38 super and 357 sig. I don't load 40. That might need to be adjusted.

The only sensor(s) you would need to adjust would be powder sense and bullet sense if you are using those.

We will use 2 Toolheads and have all sensors possible in place. If it can be done in 20-30 minutes we are happy!

Not so many people who have Mark 7 with all sensors who weekly convert from 9mm to .40 here in our small The Netherlands country... Any other advise welcome, big investment for our club. Regards!!
