Open Pistol, or Custom Bobber???

Recommended Posts

Seriously considering selling my Open pistol to fund a motorcycle.

Im torn... I get attached to things and I love my STI DVC, but I will be listing it in the classifieds to see if there is interest.  I don't get the opportunity to shoot it enough for me to justify keeping it when my wife doesn't want to me to take cash out of an acct when I could sell a gun that just sits there.

I feel like I have the bobber itch and I need to scratch it.

Has as anyone had real sellers remorse in a similar situation?

Yes, I regret selling my open gun. But in the long run they are just material things and can always be purchased at another point in time. Life is to short, sell it and fund that bobber,  be safe.

It's "just" a DVC -- by which I mean, those aren't uncommon models and if you decide you want it back in a couple years, it won't be hard to replace. It's not like a one-of-a-kind custom or anything, right?

(Granted -- I'm speaking as someone who has never sold a single gun I own ) :D

Sold three guns to fund an Indian Roadmaster. Do I miss them, sometimes but when I open the throttle and my wife is on the back and we are riding together life is good.

Didn’t have an Indian ,,just could not get my wife on my Harley..

so I sold it. Still miss that thing..but never fell off it
