wooddog
Is anyone using a PARA LDA 16 .40 for USPSA Production?
dapribek
I had one, but didn’t shoot it well and sold it.
OPENB
I had an LDA 18 9mm. The trigger is very revolver like, long, with a long reset. I didn't care for it, sold it pretty quickly.
caspian guy
With some tweaking of springs and polishing they can be ok... jim anglin at sailors custom i think used to work them over. Learning to use the trigger at speed took fair bit of practice (i had to learn to slap it while holding the gun still to generate any speed. ) The reloads aren't great because the para mags are kinda blunt in my opinion. If you have big hands it might fit you well and light loads in the gun felt about like a tanfo shooting minor. However unlike a tanfo there's no sweet single action after that first long pull. With no factory support for parts its kinda a dead platform (unless remington still has parts? )
wooddog
I have had one for quite some time but never used it... looks like I should just sell it and move on. Thanks for the input
pskys2
If you have one use it, just lower the recoil spring weight and load it light to a 130+pf. Load it to 10 rounds and off you go. It is legal, just expensive and never caught on. That has a lot to do with marketing and support of top shooters though.
HCH
I always thought about buying one for Production or Carry Optics since I already have two 16-40's and plenty of mags. If I had one, I'd run it in production.
