srrch
Hello I've heard the Tanfoglio is replacing the Limited Pro with the Limited model. Does anyone know when the new model will be available in the US, and what company will be importing it? ElMateo487
Are there limiteds that don’t have a full length dust cover? The best part about the Lim Pro was showing up to IDPA SSP with it. Lol

DenverDave
I had heard the replacement for the LimPro is the new Stock 1. Specifically because it is designed for IDPA and USPSA.

Was the model you purchased the exact same model? It looks like the only external difference between the Lim Pro and the model in the picture are the mounting holes in the frame. OPENB
So it's SAO, so not really a replacement for the LimPro as far as Production & Carry Optics is concerned.
01Deuce
Is the Limited Pro out of production or just not imported any more ? It is still listed on the Tanfoglio web site along with some other interesting changes. http://www.tanfoglio.it/eng/catalogo/sport-amp-competition/

JordanGriffith
I like the look of the wood grips but how do they feel ? Not nearly as good as the scales I have. Kamkaze
The IFG Stock I is a good option as a replacement for the Lim Pro fro IDPA if you don’t mind the pic rail.

That picture shows the new style wood grips, which I don't like at all (they look cool, but they're slick), the old checkered wood grips are my preference for large frame Tanfoglio: Edited October 26, 2017 by kneelingatlas
tattooo
I have never shot uspsa but being this limited is drilled and tapped for an optic, from what I gather if you put one on it will bump you to open because it is attached to the frame not slide. Am I correct ?

Wish there was a way to get a comp for the limited so with an optic it would be a decent entry level open gun without springing for the gold team.
