Hello

I've heard the Tanfoglio is replacing the Limited Pro with the Limited model. Does anyone know when the new model will be available in the US, and what company will be importing it?

IFG imported this model to the US for a short time, I bought one used in the classifieds section of this forum ~3 years ago.

Yes I am referring to this picture. Was the model you purchased the exact same model? It looks like the only external difference between the Lim Pro and the model in the picture are the mounting holes in the frame.

Are there limiters that don’t have a full length dust cover?

The best part about the Lim Pro was showing up to IDPA SSP with it. Lol
IKR. I shoot the Lim Pro in SSP as well and it feels like I'm cheating.

Exactly the same: SAO, drilled & tapped frame, no magwell.

I like the look of the wood grips but how do they feel ?

That picture shows the new style wood grips, which I don't like at all (they look cool, but they're slick), the old checkered wood grips are my preference for large frame Tanfoglio:

I have never shot uspsa but being this limited is drilled and tapped for an optic, from what I gather if you put one on it will bump you to open because it is attached to the frame not slide. Am I correct ?

You can’t run an optic in any uspsa division except carry optics and open

Thanks, that's what I figured. Wish there was a way to get a comp for the limited so with an optic it would be a decent entry level open gun without springing for the gold team.
