twister
Do you think there's a real advantage to a 6in. over a 5in. 1911 being shot in PPC? You're opinion is appreciated, thanks, Dave.
stardust tommy
you need the extra sightradius for more precise aiming I don't like the recoil of a heavy 6" slide so I reduced the weight a lot (internal and external) I like some extra mass in front (also shooting a heavy PPC revolver) so I used a JEM long frame and a KKM bullbarrel also a Geppert vario trigger so I can adjust (play) the lenght of the trigger build it in 9mm, I used a LB PII .45 for years and with the 9mm my scores went up. 5gr N330 with a good 115gr HP or FMJ will shoot accurate (not soft) Aristocrat tri set for the neck hold http://i68.tinypic.com/w1i7l.jpg[/IMG]

twister
Tommy, very nice looking pistol. Where are you finding n330 in the US?
RippinSVT
I LOVE 6" 9mm 1911's, it's almost an obsession. I have 4 of them and all are capable of shooting around 1" at 50 yards. I like the sight radius and the sluggish recoil allows me to track my sights better.
