Jericho 941f

Just to share, I installed the following:

IPSC Store 13lb CZ 75 Hammer Spring

Tanfoglio Xtreme Firing Pin Spring Light

Tanfoglio Xtreme Firing Pin Small Frame

I shot a 100 rounds of factory 124g ammo (Armscor FMJ) and had no light primer strikes. I may try to drop to an 11lb spring, but will want to wait for my new trigger gauge to arrive to see first where I am at.

This is a new 941F F9, frame mounted safety, 2019 manufactured.

hey guys!!!! I have a Jeri 941 FS drom 96', 3.5 inch barrrel and now im getting a 96 full size 941F . Used to have a stock 2 and a match elite SAO , so I know a little about tanfos and jerichos... my question is. Can I fit a cz 75b , 85 old style trigger from CGW??? to adjust over trvel and pretravel????? i could get the Xtreme less curved trigger but that one haves only over travel adjustments... ..... read on reddit i think that tanfos (maybe jerichos too) had the trigger pin a little bit bigger.. so would need little bit of drilling ............ I'm thinking on getting the floating trigger pin too BDW......... had it on all my tanfos.........

Yes, you could drill out the holes to fit

Anyone find a decent aftermarket trigger for the Jericho?

Just got a new 941 and the curve on the trigger is nasty!!  👎

Lucky you, I'm putting together a massive post with regard to the Jericho's compatibility with Tanfoglio aftermarket parts for a different forum. Maybe I should post it here too when it's done? Anyway, in the above photos a Cajun Gun Works 85C trigger for a Canik, another Tanfoglio clone, is in there along with their 2.5mm floating trigger pin. As of this writing they no longer offer a trigger specifically for a Canik, however they do still offer it for the CZ SP-01 Phantom, which also (usually) used 2.5 mm for the trigger pin, so maybe that would work? CZ has discontinued production of the SP-01 Phantom so I don't know how much longer CGW will have those on hand.

The thing is the hole in the trigger bar is a wider diameter than the one in the trigger itself so that there is a tiny bit of play between the trigger bar pin and actual trigger bar. At least on that Canik trigger anyway.

Due to the Jericho using the trigger bar guide assembly instead of the screw and seperate springs set up CZ uses to tension the trigger bar and magazine catch this is not actually a problem. It is effectively always under spring tension and that that does a lot to keep it from slowly walking out. I find if you get some blue loc-tite on both ends of the trigger bar pin and let it cure that stops observable walk out.

But as others have pointed out an aftermarket trigger specifically for the Tanfoglio is probably a more sound choice. There were other changes I had made in mine so I wanted a trigger with a double action pre-travel set screw which nobody offers for a Tanfoglio even now that I'm aware of.

That's a great idea.  Or you could start a brand-new thread, that might be better.

If you do start a brand-new thread, please come back here and post a link to it.  🙂
