casarez
Hello, I am looking for some help in figuring out which sized TJ Custom 'Series 80 to Series 70' shim I should be getting for a SIG 1911 MAXM in 9mm. Thanks!
jcc7x7
I usually use the Original. I think Brownell's still sells them that way I've also bought the oversized one and stoned it down to fit, takes a little longer but you get a tighter fit. Signcutter
You can get a pretty good idea by assembling the pistol with out the FP block riser installed and running a feeler gage in between the frame and hammer. I recollect having a .067 spacer in my .40 SigMax. I don't have access to it to verify though.
thormx538
Slightly off topic, but when did Sig make the MAX in 9mm? I thought it was always only done in 40SW and 45ACP.

Thank you again for the recommendation. $20 in parts smooth out the last thing and it is awesome to shoot.
