GetAwayDriva
I have been shooting my versamax for at least 3 years now and once I got the light primer strikes figured out, it runs pretty flawlessly. However, I was wondering what spare parts I should be carrying with me to matches since I do not have a backup gun. Does anyone have a list of springs and things that I should keep on hand to keep my trusty shotgun running. Chriswakey
Certainly get a spare link I've had 2 break now. Firing pin and spring Extractor, pin and spring Mag tube spring Shell latch and pin I carry a full replacement set of spares and a spare gun. Not yet actually needed anything at a match but I'm paranoid like that.

Chriswakey
Oh and firing pin retaining pin and o ring if you have not already binned it for a roll pin.
Chriswakey
What did you do to sort out the light strikes? I've had a few last few weeks I put a new Benelli hammer spring in but that has not cured it.
GetAwayDriva
Sorry. I didn't see this until now. The magic part that seemed to cure my light strikes was a Wolff brand benelli extra power hammer spring, the key being EXTRA POWER. Since installing that part probably at least two years ago, I have not had a single light primer strike since.
