ima45dv8
I just learned that Chris Palmer passed away yesterday. You might know him from "Atlanta 3-Gun" and "Atlanta USPSA" matches at South River Gun Club. Chris was a former USPSA Area 6 interim director and helped put on some Area 6 matches at that same facility. He and a business partner bought my steel match (TSCR Steel Challenge) about 5 years ago when my work obligations made it difficult to continue with the match. That was a huge favor to me. Chris was a very personable and likable fellow. Even before he knew much about shooting competitions he was an enthusiastic volunteer and promoter of the gun sports. It's like he just knew he was going to fall in love with this stuff. RIP, Chris. I'll miss you.
TennJeep1618
I met Chris and spent two days with him at the Jabs match this past May. Lots of fun to be around and he seemed like a really great guy. Sad that I won't see him at any matches in the future.
wgj3
Uhhh... He was recovering from a "successful" surgery as of last Friday. I thought he was on the mend...?
