May have found P18.9 Pro Custom mags

I recently got a P18.9 Pro Custom in 9mm and quickly started to source extra mags. As I was working on a order with one of my distributors, I noticed they had a Remington mag that fits their "new" double stack 1911 in 9mm. I'm pretty sure the frame of that "Remington" 1911 is from Para since they bought them, both guns look the same. Long story short, I added a mag to my cart just for s&g. It fits great, locks the slide back and drops free. I have not ran any rounds through it yet but will soon. The mag is an exact copy of my factory Para mags but with holes cut out on the rear to show each 1-19 rounds.

The Remington part # is 17794, here is a link that I found on the net to show pics since my PB account isn't working. http://www.centerfireguns.com/remington-1911-match-9mm-mag-bl-18rd-17794.html

They show 2 pictures of 2 different basepads. The RP9 which will not fitt if you have a magwell and the second which is what the 18.9s came with.

on a whim i orered a few and they work. Mine had the basepads in the first image. Not a big deal to me as used some others I have.

over in the rock island ection there is  thread where one member says they can get 22 with the Dawson Extensions added,91206_rp9_magazine.jpg91206_fs5p.jpg

For USPSA, better chk the length with Dawson tooless pads, no more than 140mm

+1

When I first got my Pro Custom I picked up a couple of the Dawson pads ... AND ... they fit great ... get a lot of rounds in them but they didn't fit in the gauge.

I have (for sale) 20 new/old stock mags for the Para 18-9 Limited. Marked Canada on the mag body. Never used.

Just like these:

That's a no go for USPSA

Hard to see but it looks like you might be able to take a little of the base of the pad with a grinder (or whatever you have) to make them fit? Sometimes it doesn't take much...
