jsoupene
I'm looking for suggestions on a gun solvent or cleaner that does not have a strong odor? I use Hoppes #9 but get tired of it stinking up my whole basement. Thanks!
GringoBandito
Check out Hoppes Elite.. No smell and cleans extremely well.
rishii
M-Pro 7 odorless , colorless, non toxic, the closest you'll find to cleaning a gun with soap and water, and it's also the best cleaning solvent I've found ive read that hoppes elite is M-pro7 in a hoppes bottle
AzShooter
I've been using M-Pro 7 since they first came out with it. My fiancé hated when I was using any other cleaner because of the smell. I was one of their first sponsored shooters and gave away hundreds of bottles to prove how good of a cleaner it is. Clean with what you want and they clean it again with M-Pro 7 to see how much more junk will come out.

perttime
Gunslick (or Forrest, in my corner of the world) Foaming Bore Cleaner. http://www.gunslick.com/products/chemicals/cleaners_degreasers/foamingborecleaner.aspx The normal size ones are perfect for pistols and rifles. They also do artillery size systems... " spray, wait, remove" no strong odors.

Bdh821
I've been using basic acetone lately. Seems to work fine. Kinda stinky, but it goes away quick
teros135
Acetone is a great solvent (and dries clean), but watch it on anything other than metal, like grips, optic fibers, etc. Eats them.
