BlackBuzzard
I have 4000 small rifle primers I need to use up, preferably with my stock JP GMR15 PCC. Am I gonna regret the first batch I make? Does the firing pin hit as hard in a PCC as an AR15? Edited September 9, 2017 by BlackBuzzard Link to comment
MrRick
All I use on my MPX with 24c trigger. Also worked with CMC, SSA-E and stock trigger with JP springs. Edited September 9, 2017 by MrRick Link to comment
L9X25
Since they use the exact same hammer and spring as an AR15, they should hit about the same. Link to comment
Roy T
While tinkering with some loads for the PCC I used both pistol and rifle primers and they both worked (made the gun go bang) the rifle primer loads ran a bit faster over the chrono Link to comment
OPENB
My rifle with JP yellow springs failed to light 1/10 S&B SRP. 100% with standard springs. S&B SRP are hard. Link to comment
RH45
i wouldn't use rifle primers for minor loads. Not enough pressure to seal. Do a search on breech face cutting Link to comment
Aircooled6racer
Hello: Load up a 100 and check them out. You can check around the fired brass for any leakage of the gasses around the primer but I am sure it will be fine. Seat the primers well and shoot a bunch. Thanks, Eric Link to comment
bwikel
The 8k+ minor loads I have through my PCC with CCI SRP show no breech face cutting on my bolt. Some of those were powder puff 105pf loads, all run with SRP. Link to comment
