I was sick for months and the drs tested everything...but lead.. even dot an endoscopy and colonoscopy.. talk about being violated and not even being able to enjoy.... happen to be at a match and someone asked if I was ever tested for lead... called dr that Monday and was told nope... and behold I was a bit elevated.. I was having issues with keeping food or water down, always sick to my stomach, headaches etc... well a yr later and I'm hovering around 6-8 with loading and shooting a few times a week. Does this also mean you are feeling much better?

jschweg
I just got mine tested and ended up with a 12.9October through April I shoot in two indoor PPC leagues which amount to 1-2 times a week.During the nice weather months everything is outdoors. I think I'll get tested again in 5 months before the indoors starts up again to see if it goes down. Not that the value is super high, but I was pretty surprised since those indoor matches only amount to about 300-500 rounds a month.Sent from my SM-G935V using TapatalkI just got my levels tested again since the last above post (6 months). In those 6 months I've done very little indoor shooting, maybe a handful of session since I had been shooting outdoors during the nice weather season.I'm down to 9 now, however I'm less than enthusiastic with the relatively small change. Can anyone chime in on how long it takes for these levels to drop. I know that it takes forever for lead to gradually come out of your bones, but figured that the blood level is a relatively short term thing.Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
lefty o
lead gets in your body and doesnt leave easily. took more than two years for mine to drop about 8 points.
CHA-LEE
It sounds like some people posting here who are or were shooting at indoor ranges then had elevated lead levels think that the only exposure happens when they are shooting. Regardless of you shooting or not you are still being exposed to lead. Especially if you are ROing.
