Patrick Scott
I have a 1 5/8" carbon fiber tube handguard with no holes in it. I know most rifles run larger ones, but Im wonder if anyone has any tips/tricks for adding short rail sections to CF tubes as far as attachment hardware goes. Thanks
steviesterno
be careful if you try and drill into it, i heard CF is not great to inhale or get in your eyes. Could you just epoxy the heck out of it? Seems like that would be the easiest way.
The Donald
Just drill some holes in the tube, if worried about dust spray it with some water.
barrysuperhawk
Drill very carefully, put tape over the spot, run a vac while drilling, use gloves and do not breathe the dust. Use a scotch brite to clean up the hole. CF splinters REALLY suvk.
