jetjocky
Good bad ugly. Anyone have any issues reloading this brass. BTW I will be loading this stuff to 9 major thanks for any help Keith Edited August 5, 2017 by jetjocky
microham
Yes, it is stepped inside. I had issues loading 165gr Xtream bullets on the short side. Personally I like Starline. No issues what so ever. I only use xtreme for 124-147 gr.
Brewski
I'm assuming your decapping pin holder gets past the step so you can actually resize the case. I hit my first stepped case yesterday and my Dillon 650 with a Dillon 9mm die would not allow the case to move past the decapping pin holder. zombywoof
I have X-TREME brass. It doesn't have a step. Is this the same brass you're talking about?

Extreme and Freedom munitions are the same outfit. Latest word was they were ending production of the stepped garbage. You probably got some newer stuff
jetjocky
We'll I guess this is the new stuff- non stepped. We shall see.
njl
Extreme makes multiple varieties of crap brass. Stepped would be totally unsuitable for major. Brass plated steel cases probably shouldn't be reloaded at all.
microham
Yes they do and l got 1k of the stepped brass that I can't load with their 165gr. 9mm projectiles, A waste of money so I had to replace them with Starline.

My father in law had the same experience and sent them back.
