ISO of a better range finder

Recommended Posts

I've had a hard time ranging some smaller  350 -450 yard targets with my Bushnell 850 Range Finder. I was wondering if the Vortex 1500 Ranger would be a good replacement?

$425 dollars is right in my price range and it seems to be in stock everywhere.

I just upgraded from a cheap Bushnell to a Vortex Ranger 1500 and would recommend it.

First one I got was defective though. Wouldn't range shit. Sent it back to Vortex and they replaced it. New one works well so far but I haven't had much time to use it.

The Sig was on also one I considered.

I have heard good things about the Sig Kilo 2000, but have never used one personally. I was getting irritated by the shortcomings of my old ass Leupold 750 something or other, so I bought a Leica 1600b. It is pretty bad ass, I have ranged a large rock on a mountainside at close to 2000 yards. 3 gun targets at 3-600 are no problem at all.

Finally made the decision today before all my gun fund was spent on the daughters back to school clothes. Found the sig 2000 on sale with no shipping on Optics Planet and went with it. Thank  for the replys
