dogtired
I had this old small frame Witness laying around. These are great little pistols for not much money. They generally have pretty good triggers as is. They lack a good set of sights though.
dogtired
I bought a $20 1911 red dot mount off ebay and the dovetail wedge is pretty close. It was snug on another slide I have. Pretty easy part to make if I like it. I slapped them together and voila... The slide to mount fit is acceptable. I will let the threadlocker dry and let you know how it works. I tried a Glock but between the sight mount and the Glock grip angle, it was a little too strange. Edited June 15, 2017 by dogtired Hard to post pics off the phone... MrPostman
Did the same thing some years back, shot my first USPSA match in 2011 with the same setup, ff2 on the 1911 mount. Used car body moulding tape under the front part of the mount to make it more secure. Worked great.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

zombywoof
I took the same 1911 mount and ground down the high spots so the mount made more contact to the slide. Then I filled the gap with structural epoxy, added release agent to the slide. Works great.
