Snopczynski
Hey folks, I want to get feedback for OAL being ran in MPX's ONLY! I do want to know the exact OAL. If you run factory ammo, then measure the stuff and post the OAL. Link to comment
Hi-Power Jack
You probably already know this, but OAL for a particular gun will depend on the exact bullet (NOT only bullet Weight, but brand bullet, also). For example, you might have to run 124 gr JHP's at different OAL's depending on which company made them. Best to take Your Gun, and Your Bullets, and run The Plunk Test to determine maximum OAL for Your Gun with Your Bullets Link to comment
Hi-Power Jack
Then, I guess I don't understand the original question. Finding out that I run my ammo at 1.12" doesn't really do you very much good, does it? Especially if you don't know which bullet I'm running, or how that would run in Your Gun .... Link to comment
Snopczynski
Just post your OAL and that would answer my original question. Link to comment
MrRick
I use Everglades Ammo plated 124gr RN. That specific bullet I sit at 1.12 but when I used to use Xtreme I was sitting them at 1.15 not problem. The Everglades at 1.15 it was just a hair too long. Link to comment
Neomet
SNS moly 125s hit the rifeling at 1.128. I load those to 1.120. Precision Deltas 124s will go out somewhere past 1.160 which is my preferred length. Link to comment

speed
Gonna try 1.140 soon results to follow Link to comment
speed
gotta make sure the ammo is not too long so its not into the lands n grooves. if your ejecting rounds and pulling the bullet out of the case ammo is likely too long its getting stuck in the lands n grooves . shorten it up a little at a time until your good drop a round in chamber if it comes out with gravity you should be ok but again you gotta def test fire to be 100% Link to comment
sdrr72
Been loading at 1.120 to 1.125 with no issues and good groupings with mine. Link to comment

rowdyb
gen 2 mpx berrys 147 rnfp 1.100" and didn't feed well. absolutely not in gen 1 mags rmr 147 rnfp 1.100" and would feed well. 50/50 in gen 1 mags. acme 145 round nose. 1.130" and feeds well. have not tried in gen 1 mags. i have polished the feed ramp/s on my gun. i have diamond filed the lips on my mags. i run the exact same load i'm using in my pistols with no consideration given to pcc specifically. i have found that my gun likes round nose bullets better and longer rather than shorter. i have tried other's ammos and some factory ammo but i do not have their oal. Smithcity
Mpx gen 2 Use both Montana gold JHPs and round nose CMJs Use 1.135" for both, both feed fine in my gen 2. A buddies gen 2 doesn't feed the JHPs but does feed the round nose. Link to comment
