SP-01 Slide on Shadow Frame

Looking to get a top end for my Production SP-01 Shadow to have milled and use in Carry Optics. Can I use a regular SP-01 slide on my Shadow frame or must it be a Shadow top end as well?  I didn't think it would matter but had a few tell me I could potentially have some issues due to the FPB. 

 

Forgive my ignorance, I'm not a gunsmith, nor do I try to be.

If you leave the FPB in, you'll need the B sear with the FPB lifter.

Can the FPB be removed and maintain legality in CO?

I'm sure there are tons of people that have a stock sp01 sear cage assembly they're willing to part with. I'd do that as a spare, rather than sourcing a shadow slide and milling it. Mill a sp01 top end.
