Intel6
Looks like my 1100 when I had it set up for open. Is that a 12 rd extension?
sahauptman
Yep, it is a 11+
kurtm
Similer to my open Benelli, but it has a 12 round extention with 1 on the carrier and 1 in the chamber it holds 14. Used a ultima mounted just befor the rib on the 28" field barrel and added a Briley comp. I love open stuff!!! It is the testing labritory from whence good things spring. COOL GUN!!!! deke
That really is a neat gun! Question though, do you really think the optics are faster than a fiber optic bead? I never really used them much, as I've always been into limited type guns. I have an 1187 set up sorta like yours, but with a 10 rd tube, and no optic. Anyhow, looks good! -deke
sahauptman
I shoot just as fast with the dot as with a fiber optic sight in the close stuff. But when it gets into the 30 yard shots thats when I shoot faster and notice the difference.
kbear38S
Question though, do you really think the optics are faster than a fiber optic bead? Close in, no. We've been shooting plates and paper as far out as 90 yards though, and the dot's a big help, especially with the plates. There was a big time difference between open and limited guns on the long stages, even with real good shooters.
kellyn
Dots come into their own when shooting slugs. They're faster than irons. I like them when shooting clay but Brian does not approve.
Tony Chiavacci
I am aways faster with my dot, close in or far. Nice gun.
rkgsmith
Faster than who? And yes I do think this is funny.
Tony Chiavacci
Yes that is funny Rob. Unfortunately not many folks. However, at least my shotgun works HA! (Edited by Tony Chiavacci at 9:22 pm on Jan. 14, 2003)
