Tubguy
Im new to open. I have 170mm tubes with, I think are STI. grams springs and followers. There is also a spacer in the mag. Shooting 9Major. Loading the bullets into the mag seems to hang up only after putting in a few rounds Tried bumping the mag to free up what ever is going on but it does not seem to remedy the condition. Any ideas on what I should be looking for inside the mag? Thanks Mike

What is actually happening? Photos?
Tubguy
I am only able to feed 5-7 bullets into the mag before something inside the mag prevents anymore bullets from being loaded. OAL length is not an issue.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: How long are you loading your rounds? Are the Grams followers for 9mm or 38/40?Thanks, Eric

ScottieShootz
Is there a burr on the spacer which is snagging on the follower? Rip the mag apart and look it all over.

OAL might not be a problem for your chamber, but might be The Problem in your mag. BTW, just noticed you haven't mentioned if this is 9mm or .38 super - if it's .38 super, you will have those problems by using a spacer. And, you said you "think" the mags are STI's - if they're SVI's, you don't need a spacer even for 9mm - using a spacer might cause the problem. We really need a few more details to help out .... Hi-Power Jack
Does problem occur with all your mags, or just one of them?
