general_cluster
The wife just got me a new A5 for 3 gun! what barrel clamps are you guys using and do you find the center-to-center distances correct? I made my own clamp for my sx3 because the production ones put everything in bind due to incorrect ctc spacing.
Hoosiershooter
I run a Nordic. Haven't had any issues knock on wood. The Taccom works great if you have an alignment issue.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AFguywhoshoots
I run an RCI tube and no clamp. I have yet to have an issue.
Bigsampson
skip the barrel clamp. Not needed and it can cause problems with slug accuracy.
jackson923
I would use the barrel clamp and not skip it if you plan on milling the port out a little to make loading deuce and quad loads easier. When you start to do the port work you cut into the threads a little which can cause your mag tube to break off after repeated barrel dumps (happened 3 times that I know of). Invest in the clamp, I have not had issues with shooting slugs and just shot 1 for 1 on slugs at 107 yards in the FL 3 Gun Nation regional this past weekend. 1time
Run the clamp. If you put the tube on correctly is shouldn't cause issue. When using a clamp, the extended part of the tube should be loose. I tighten the nut to the barrel, then tighten the tube, then back the tube out 1 1/2 to 2 full turns. Then tighten the clamp. bwikel
I run a +8 Nordic tube with a 26 in barrel with no clamp. I have been spiking in in dump barrels for 2 years with no issues so far.
