BeerBaron Posted February 21, 2017 Share Posted February 21, 2017 that is 100% correct. when using the plain SVI pin in an IBF slide you will have to trim the FP spring to be flush with the end of the FP tip when fully seated onto the FP. I've found regardless of whether I use wolf or ISMI both need to be trimmed. I would say this very likely contributed to the problem. an extended FP is no a problem but as many others will testify I have plenty reliable ignition with a stock SVI pin in my SV and in another 2011. One of them is running a 15lb hammer spring so it's not massive strike force making up for the pin. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
