gunboy
I have see some folks have trouble with aftermarket ones cycling properly. I have no idea if they cleaned/assembled etc. the gun properly but they were blaming their new o-ring from so and-so. I just bought a new (used) 1187 set up for 3-gun and was wondering who's to buy for best performance/reliability. Brownells any good?
gm iprod
Nearly all the guys I know that use Rem 1100 and 1187 with the o rings use the original ones from Remington. If you keep your gun clean and check the wear on the o rings I would stick with the original. I always had 2 spares for mine and I checked it the day before I shot. Phil Dunlop
make that 2 from Remington. I put 2 on my turkey gun a couple of years ago, the last time I cleaned it and now it shoots everything including 7/8oz trap loads. P.D.
