MikieM
Usually a 'nose dive' is spring related. Springs have memories, and that is why the magazine tuning kit sold by Dawson contains a tool for setting the spring in it's proper position so that it travels straight up and straight down. My approach would be this: 1. Make sure your magazine is dimensionally correct. Feed lips and body. 2. Use new springs. Worn out springs lose their memory, just like people. 3. With the magazine set to the proper specs load it full with ammo and let it sit in your gun safe for a week. Also, if you are consistently feeding into the barrel ramp your magazine lips may need resetting. Take the slide off the gun, then insert a loaded magazine. Place the barrel on the frame in the approximate position of where it would be when in battery. The nose of the first bullet should be pointing at the center of the chamber, not at the ramp.
