nikdanja
Title says it all. Loading for 223 and want to try Varget bass on what serria says for their 69 or 77 grain bullets. I am using w748 ball and my Dillion powder throw works great. Haven't heard anything good as far as consistency using that throw because of the stick powder. cjim
Have not run in to any issues with Varget to date. I switched over to 8208xbr as it's easier to locate (in stock) than Varget . It's also a shorter stick than varget, good results with 75gr hornady bthp's Edited December 31, 2016 by cjim
Jeff Phillips
Varget doesn't do half bad in the Dillon powder measures. It's probably +/- 0.3 grains. It's not great, but sufficient for everything inside 200 yards.
Matt in TN
The silly little Lee powder measure is the best thing out there for Varget. Its "wiper" system deal with the large sticks better than anything else out there.
RiggerJJ
I use an RCBS case activated linkage powder measure on my Dillon 650 and 1050, one for pistol and one for rifle.
Philip Dedmon
The RCBS works good, I have two of the older models that have the bigger spool (black in color) which is easier to read what your setting is so you can make a note of it. I also have a Redding BR-30 with a bigger hopper on it I got from Sinclair International. Dillon has all the items to adapt either one to you Dillon tool head.
