Core3gunner
So I got that STI Marauder that I've been studying. Gun shoots lights out, 20 rounds at 10 yards no black left in the bullseye. Now for the bad news. Bought three extra STI magazines plus the OEM. None of the mags will drop free. What now? Anyone have a link to a good magazine tuning articles? Thanks, Doug

Lots of good information. You may just need to squeeze the magazine tube in a vise in the correct spot to make them drop free. You may want to try someone else's magazines as well that have been sized/tuned. Jeff Phillips
Sometimes the mag catch interferes with the mag dropping free. Try removing it and see how the mag slides without it in.
phil plesetz
or just send it back to STI. They will send a shipping label and rectify your problems.
v1911
^^^ This. They're covered under warranty. Give STI a call and they'll pay to have them shipped for tuning. I had a Costa that was having some issues with the slide not locking back. They tuned 3 mags for me and threw in a 4th for the delay they experienced in getting them back to me.
