Changing Casepro dies

Recommended Posts

I just got a set of 9mm dies for my Casepro which is presently set up for .40.  It looks pretty straightforward but I have thought that before with my 650 and then found a better way on the forums.  Has anyone seen a video, instructions or schematic on swapping out dies?

It's pretty straight forward. I ordered dies for a .40. I had bought 9mm with the Case Pro. The .40's would oversized every time so I put some shim stock behind the back die to fix the problem. It was cheaper than sending them back to Mike for new ones. Again not much to it.

I am interested in whether there are any "tricks" to pulling the .40 dies off and replace with the 9mm ones.

Good to know.  I figured when all 9 mm parts replaced 40s with nothing left over I was good to go.

Its super easy, like 2 minutes max, way easier than any dillon caliber change.

I can do scans of my manual if you want.  or maybe a video

It took me about 5 min including cleaning the .40 dies to put the away. Getting a bit of lube under the moving die really slicked it up, too.
