Aircooled6racer
Hello: The key is to know where your gun hits at different distances from 3 feet out to 120 yards. If you know that you will not have a problem. Thanks, Eric Link to comment
gixxerjunky
I zero my Scorpion at 25 yards and it's dead on at 100. With my 147 reloads I didn't have to adjust the sights at all from factory which I thought was odd. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment
chopinlover
Mine is at 25 yards for USPSA. Just wondering where will 3 gun guys zero their PCC at? Link to comment
XD Niner
I ran a series of ballistic models for my PSA AR-9 PCC using some of the more popular zero distances mentioned above. I'm using 124 grain Montana Gold CMJs with 4.3 grains of CFE Pistol at 1.10 OAL. This generates 1085 fps for a 134 PF. My Eotech red dot sits 2.5-inches above the bore center-line. At 10 to 20 yards I just aim at the center of the upper A zone if a head shot is required. I seldom encounter targets beyond 30 yards in a USPSA match but when I do they're inevitably open targets and I just aim at the center of the body. Edited April 5, 2017 by XD Niner Link to comment
TISCHLJ
Know the local club typical average ranges for PCC that you shoot at, then zero accordingly. If you are also shooting at 3g matches that will be different than a standard USPSA match -adjust out to 100 or so and know the dope, if needed. I would say zero for the ranges you are most likely to be shooting at most of the time. Link to comment
StealthyBlagga
50 yards. Makes my PCC shoot similar to my 3-Gun 5.56 AR15 at close range. Means I don't have to change my allowance for bore offset between the two guns. Link to comment
Patrick Scott
I think I am zero'd at about 10. I generally just go to the range and adjust the screws while shooting at different target distances from 3-50yds until I'm OK with the spread. Seems to hit dead on at 10.
