Rye
I'm new to using the 9mm spacer and my question is does it really need to be fitted? Does the U notch needs to be rounded? What else needs to be beveled? Thanks in advance.
echotango
Yes, if you do not round the back of the top/U portion, it will not sit flat to the back of the mag body. Sometimes part of the tips of the U need to be taken down. You will also need to trim the bottom to fit correctly. Go slowly and keep checking. You can't put the material back on. jcc7x7
Break all the edges at the minimum. Fit to length of base pad I like to glue mine in place after they're fitted. Edited October 8, 2016 by jcc7x7
Rye
I just need to dull out the corners of the spacer's back? I tried it without fitting it and it worked. I don't know If I should bevel it.

jcc7x7
5000 something, don't remember It's a silicone type hobby glue
Sarge
I use pure silicone sealant. Once in awhile one will get too much oil in there and come loose. But 99% of them stay in place indefinitely. If you need to pull them out you can spray oil in them etc to break down the silicone. Clean everything up and glue them back in. I just run a small bead down the middle and use a few small blocks of wood and vise grips to hold them in place for a few days
