KommBat
Hi there, I am in for a G19 that I want to set up for competition. I like to put a magwell on it but I cant´t find any. Only the carry-magwells...I dont like those. Is it possible to fit a ZEV Slim magwell to a G19? What is the difference between the G19 and G17 magwell? How do you fit magwells to a Glock that has a grip reduction anyway? If there is no space anymore for the "Plug" ? Thank you guy´s for your help. Gooldylocks
If the plug hole is gone, then you are pretty much SOL. That being said, I believe that most all of the Zev magwells will fit the 19/23 guns if you have the short insert instead of the long one. I could be wrong about that, but I do remember reading it somewhere.
Philip Dedmon
This is the one I am using. http://www.bb-enterprise.biz/ecommerce/custom-magwells-glock-xd-xdm/custom-glock-magwells/carver-g19-g23-big-mouth-3-4-oz.cfm

Southpaw
I would think a G17 mag well wouldn't fit a G19 since the bottom of the grip is at a different angle, but I haven't tried it myself. And as said above, if you had a grip reduction changing the backstrap cavity or the lanyard hole I think you're pretty much SOL. Unless you want to attach it with Krazy Glue
9x45
I use these plastic ones, get them on Amazon, cheap, but work just fine. Fitment is perfect.

9x45
They are made by Prezine, but not sold directly by them. $19 on Amazon. http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/grip-parts/grips/grip-adapter-magwell-for-glcok--prod20944.aspx https://www.amazon.com/Glock-Magwell-Helps-Reloading-Fits/dp/B00IYUEZOU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1475326396&sr=8-1&keywords=glock+magwell Here is the one for the G19/G23/G32 http://www.rockyourglock.com/custom/RGMGW.htm OP, what competition are you setting up the G19 for? Compact guns are harder to manage than full size guns for the games. There is really no advantage to a smaller gun.

Hi, this is just a project gun. dont realy plan to go into competition... but I guess it could fit into carry-optics. But thank you for your advice. ZEV had/has a sale and I bought one for $65. We will see how this will work out.
mreed911
You can't use a magwell extension in Carry Optics. Depending on what was done during a grip reduction (if it got textured, for example), it may already be illegal in that division.
9x45
yup, CO is Production with a dot, not allot of mods allowed there. And you wouldn't want to go Limited.
