jason16
Hi, Long time shooting sports nut here. Been around competition since I was old enough to pick up brass and hold a paint can. I have just recently (last 2 years) got serious about it myself! USPSA, steel challenge and 3 gun. Thanks for having me!!!

I've been loading for a while but really hoping for some good ideas for major 9 as I haven't really found the best load yet Yes!! I've been shooting the Magnolia USPSA as much as I can! Great club!! We usually come with a whole crew from north La. Can't wait for the Carbine match! (Missed the last one)

Hi-Power Jack
hoping for ideas for major 9 as I haven't found the best load yet What is your current load? What don't you like about it? Real standard is a 124 gr JHP bullet over c 7 gr WAC or 8 gr HS6. (That's what I started with ten years ago, and have stayed with it). BUT, I've read here that there are "better" loads (lighter bullets and slower powders)

jason16
I've been running 124g JHP with 7g auto comp. But I find myself waiting for the dot for follow up shots! I noticed this watching some fellow shooters during a qualifier stage and realized I just couldn't get faster! Not flat enough!!
