JunotFranco
I am looking for a very specific barrel for my wife's AR. It has to be: 16 inch lightweight 1:8 or 1:7 Mid length Front A2 sight gas block. Thanks for your help.
mikeyjones
Check out battlearms development. They can check off 3/4 boxes. You can always get a flip up front sight. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
mostholycerebus
The boards wont let me link, but Integrity Arms has a nice melonite 1/8 Midlength 5r lightweight Wylde chamber on sale for $159. I paid $200 a few years back for the same thing, and its been my most accurate AR barrel. Edited June 27, 2016 by mostholycerebus

mostholycerebus
BTW, the above vendor (who is also a Vet) cant disclose who makes his unbranded barrels, but in the FAQ on break-in procedure, he links to Black Hole Weaponry's advice. Hmmm....

NoKimberDave
I did not believe it until I proved it. http://blog.defenderoutdoors.com/inexpensive-accurate-ballistic-advantage/ I bought a spendy fluted mid length barrel for my first nice 3gun rifle. Never really found anything that shot great thru it. I ended up building a 12.5" for my SBR for bay style shooting. Stuck a BA barrel in it. Was dumbstruck to find it shoots way better than my other barrel. Have had three BA / Aero precision barrels (I believe AP now owns a large part of BA) now and they have all really exceeded my expectations and the price point by a mile. Being a hack, I have no need to spend more money for a barrel as these are only limited by my skill set. I've seen the 16" middy on Ebay for $104.00!!!!
