Aimpoint Magnifier

We sell them, they are $459 ($499 MSRP). Currently out of stock but more are due in any day. I think Aimpoint USA is waiting on them to clear customs. For 3-Gun, they will not be a great solution until a better tip-off mount is available. One that rotates the magnifier out of the sightline but keeps it on the weapon. Then you can shoot close targets in reflex mode, and roll the unit into position to shoot distant targets. Using a stationary mount the magnifiers work well with the new M3 Aimpoints with 2 MOA dot.

Was there ever a definitive answer if the Aimpoint + magnifier would be considered one optical sighting device, or two? (hence tac vs. open)

I showed Mike Voigt the setup at Shot Show and he said two sights therfore Open Class.

Might want to call the folks at Moutning Solutions Plus they had a mount at Shot Show and with the flick of a switch it dropped to the side and out of the line of sight. I didn't see it on there web site yet but here is a link: URL=http://www.mountsplus.com/index.htm]Mounting Solutions Plus[/url][
