swearengen
I just finished installing the Henning Gen 4 firing pin in my Stock II but it appears I messed up along the way. The tip of the firing pin is stuck about an 1/8" through the breach face. I can push the pin further forward through the breach face but can't push it rearward at all. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? Any advice on fixing the issue? I tried searching but couldn't find anything.
johnbu
Been there, done that. The pin went past the firing pin block (FPB) and ROTATED, now the block is keeping it forward. Remove the back plate. Slightly depress the FPB, and rotate the pin until it will come out. It's fiddly, but it will come.

johnbu
Glad it got fixed up! The root cause is the FP spring is too weak for the hammer spring. What are you running for springs? Edited May 31, 2016 by johnbu

Not a cycle issue, if I read OP correctly. Ahhhhh, that would do it too. Well reading comprehension was never a strong suit of mine. Lol
