Going about it all wrong.

I've got my 929 shooting exceptional groups. Love my C-More with the 16 minute dot and have no problems during practice keeping all my shots on and 8 in bullseye at 20 yards.But my match times are very disappointing.

I'm trying to go back to the basics, firing one shot per target and have no misses throughout the Steel Challenge Match.

When I was using my 625 I only shot six shots rarely and can count the number of times I had to do a reload on one hand.

Yesterday, after we were all done, I looked at my used moon clips and saw many with 7 or 8 shots used up. This is not good. I know you can't miss fast enough to win.

So, I'm going to try to bring back my old archery days and really take my time making sure I hit with every shot. I think if I slow down my scores with improve. Once I get comfortable with my new strategy I will work on speed.

One RO yesterday said he wanted to run me because AzShooter NEVER MISSES. Boy did I surprise him. :-(
