DocMedic
I took home a FN AR-15 barrel cert from the New Mexico Precision rifle Championship this past weekend. ( I really wanted the Proof research barrel, but surprise the bolt gunners that finished ahead of me wanted it more ) I'm trying to find info about this thing but I can't seem to get any clear answers, all I know is its a 1:7 twist, Hammer Forge, Government Profile barrel cut for 5.56. Does anyone have any experience with these barrels? whats the weight, are these Chrome Moly or stainless that have been blued? Are they accurate? I know they where pushing these heavily on advertisement on the 3GunNation website a while back but I never seen one out in the wild. TonytheTiger
A guy I shoot with has an FN with presumably the same barrel. He kept getting stuck cases and blamed a tight chamber. I think he ended up swapping it for a Stretch16.
