Thoughts on the DDI-12 saiga type shotgun?

Looking for a shotgun to start an open build. Thinking heavily about the mka 1919 match, because of the aftermarket support and the possibility of the incremental nature of the upgrades (I shoot tac ops normally, so this is more of a fun match gun, and something I want in the safe before the next election) and the immediate ability to mount a red dot. While poking about, I came across the Ddi-12 and its got some interesting features at that price point. Ddi, from what I've read makes a well regarded ak, so did the quality carry over?

The first bunch that has been sold has had problems with the bolts breaking. From what I seen DDI is making it right. I have a vepr 12. I am very happy so far. I am hoping to try a DDI out sometime.
