45nut
I started out shooting a 1911 .45 single stack in 1992 and my friend thought it would be interesting to use a 155 gr. bullet at major PF and short stroke the slide and use a heavy spring. Man that gun shot so flat and hardly moved. I have decided to get back into USPSA now in my mid 50's, and trying to duplicate the short stroking of my 1911, problem is, the shock buffs that are available today are junk and don't hold up for more than about 100 rounds. Is there any good strong buffs out there or is there something new to use? Hope some one can send some info my way and thank you in advance.
