Smitty79
I have friend who's about to start reloading. He's going to start with 9mm for USPSA Production. I've been buying a lb of this and a lb of that because I need to replace 7625. I have an extra lb of Red Dot, Titegroup, Accurate #2. I have not loaded with any of them yet. Which would be best to give him for a first powder? From burn rate charts, I would think #2. It looks to make minor with 147s with a little margin. AzShooter
AA 2 is a good powder to start with, my favorite of your list was Red Dot. Very easy to make minor. Now I'm using N320 but am going to switch to WSF when I run out. It's so much cheaper and still makes minor with no problems using posted load data. SWHlctx
I shoot 9mm in USPSA Limited Minor and Production. I've used a lot of Titegroup. I'm using WSF now mainly because came in a trade deal and I got 8 lbs. All shot out of a G34 with KKM barrel. 3.3gr Titegroup 147 SNS RN OAL 1.13 FSPP MB PF 130 3.4gr WSF 147 SNS RN OAL 1.13 FSPP MB PF
Aircooled6racer
Hello: Use Tite Group and look no further. Great powder for 9mm, 40 S&W and 45acp. Try some 121-124 grain bullets as well. Thanks, Eric
Absocold
Go with Titegroup. Works fine and seems to be the most easily found of the bunch lately. Seen a lot of empty shelves with a lonely pound or two of Titegroup left behind.
