waktasz
I have a Classic 2 as my IDPA gun. I put the same 10lb recoil spring I have always used in my Stock 2 and on this gun it doesn't always want to close on slide lock reloads. Should I use a "longslide" length spring from Wolff? I was told the Limited Pros use that spring, and this slide looks similar.
EngineerEli
Depends on barrel length I think. If the classic 2 has a 4.5" barrel it should use the 'full size' recoil springs, if it has a 4.75" barrel it should use the 'long slide' recoil springs. They are really the same thing just with a 2 lb offset. A 10 lb 'full size' spring IS an 8 lb 'long slide' spring... could be the reason for your cycling issue. waktasz
ok, great. I just ordered a 10# long slide and an 11# full size because I wasn't sure and Wolff is running an 8-10 business day back log. I am hoping to have it by the 23rd so I can go with this "big" IDPA match with my $350 mini unicorn.

waktasz
Get me one for $350 and we'll talk. This gun was an impulse buy that I only use for IDPA. Already have two Stock 2s and they aren't legal.

Nealio
Yeah the .40 with the light spring will hitch at little when closing from slide lock. Make sure you have enough crimp on your rounds.
