EAA Witness classic 2 recoil spring - "longslide" or "full

I have a Classic 2 as my IDPA gun. I put the same 10lb recoil spring I have always used in my Stock 2 and on this gun it doesn't always want to close on slide lock reloads. Should I use a "longslide" length spring from Wolff? I was told the Limited Pros use that spring, and this slide looks similar.

Depends on barrel length I think. If the classic 2 has a 4.5" barrel it should use the 'full size' recoil springs, if it has a 4.75" barrel it should use the 'long slide' recoil springs. They are really the same thing just with a 2 lb offset. A 10 lb 'full size' spring IS an 8 lb 'long slide' spring... could be the reason for your cycling issue.

ok, great. I just ordered a 10# long slide and an 11# full size because I wasn't sure and Wolff is running an 8-10 business day back log. I am hoping to have it by the 23rd so I can go with this "big" IDPA match with my $350 mini unicorn.

Why not Limited Pro? It fits the new IDPA box from IDPA online store.
