Unable to edit original post.

Trying to keep this list updated but I can no longer edit the original post. The edit button isn't just greyed out, it's missing. Guessing there's a time limit on edits by normal users. Any help appreciated.

Correct. After a set period of time, the edit feature of a post goes away.

List has been edited a dozen times in last three days since I started the thread. If I have to ask a mod for every change then you're going to be busy guys lol.

Was hoping there was a way to set me as owner/mod for the thread or something so I can keep up with the edits without having to ask for help every time.

Cut and paste info from the "old" original post into a new post and then update it?

Not terribly easy to do with all the embedded links.

If it's not an easy button press to re-auth my editing ability then I guess I'll try to figure something else out.

Just hit the quote button and reply to the post. The quote will carry the links through.

It's not an easy fix. The time limit came about because an early member left in a huff -- but not before erasing/editing out all of the content of his posts. That left a bunch of unintelligible threads on the board, hence the limitation.....
