jameslee1223
I finally had time and weather to get to the range today. It was a little cool and there was a strong wind, 30MPH coming out of the southwest, but it was nice and sunny. I set up at the 100 yard line from the prone with a bi-pod and rear bag with the wind coming from my 4 o'clock. I am new to this but I am really digging it. It's got a meditative quality. The focus and concentration. Align cross hairs, breathe in, breathe out, squeeze. If i had more ammo I would have been there most of the afternoon. Anyway here's my best group from today. Nothing was bigger than an inch but I need to dry fire more.

Hi-Power Jack
Great. What's the scope?
jameslee1223
Great. What's the scope? It's a Burris 3-9x40 Fullfield I got from my step-dad. I haven't decided which optic I want yet. Money is tight and this is my first long range rifle so I was leaning towards the SWFA SS 10x42. But, I can get a sweet deal on a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 for a few hundred more. If I get the SWFA then I can afford to get the Bell and Carlson stock I've been looking at.
