scrappy35
I have been running Montana gold 124jhp,4.7 WST with an oal 1.13 for a couple years now out of a M&P pro. This averages 1075fps. I installed a new apex barrel and it wants a max OAL of 1.085-1.090. Since I have about 7 lbs of WST left I need to figure out how to make this work if possible. Should I just drop powder down and work my way up or is that length going to be unrealistic? Current rounds will force load, but ejecting is a major issue with obvious marks on the bullet. Sandbagger123
drop it down and start again or have the barrel reamed. that said i not worry about it too much. i ran 5 gr WST @ 1.08 and did not have any problems
Hi-Power Jack
Try loading five at 1.08" with 4.2 grains powder - see if they work. If they do, work up to your desired velocity, slowly with a chrono.
jcc7x7
I've been running 4.6 wsf with 124 MT in a Sig 226 and several M&P's at 1.065 OAL But I think you've already got the idea of shorten up, drop the load and work back up to desired PF Edited February 21, 2016 by jcc7x7
