mjl
Need some help here. We are close to going live with registration for a Level II Match. We were close to going with Stripe through practiscore to do the on-line instantaneous payments. However, the reviews regarding Stripe are not stellar and there is some reluctance from our Board to go that route. What are people using that to facilitate their online payments? EDIT- We have done some additional research and noted that both Paypal and Stripe have an A+ rating from the BBB, so maybe Stripe is not as problematic as we initially feared. sarnburg
We have used PS and Stripe for last 2 years with no problems. If I could go to all online payments of match fee's I would. It is one less thing I have to deal with match day. Scott
Liberty556
Been using Stripe for nearly 2 years with no complaints. We are hopeful that they will support tiered payments soon.... Also, personally I will not use Paypal for anything. They are anti-gun. Will not allow the sale of any firearm parts, or ammo. Screw them. af220wa
Been using Stripe for 4 years without issues. It would be nice if Practiscore could offer other system like QuickBooks payments but many of the on-line payment companies have strict anti gun rules. birdo
Those of you that do use Stripe, have you had any pushback from your clubs (executive boards, etc)? How do you handle the transfer of money to the club?
perttime
You US guys need to push your banks to implement direct transfers account-to-account and bank-to-bank. European banks have done that, and it is easy to do using your own online banking. No extra costs either. ... a guy I know was just complaining what a pain it was to get a payment from USA. He got a check by snail mail - and getting it cashed was time consuming and costly. He was considering a 25 or 30% fee for check payments...
