Cundiff5535
Getting ready to start loading some 38 super/super comp here and was looking for thoughts on best powders to use and what your favorite recipes were. I am looking for two loads... Soft shooting, fun range/practice... and a nice defense load. I have a lot of the following powders so I am hoping that these powders will work well for me (they are all great for 45acp). CFE Pistol Tite Group Unique Universal Win Auto Comp Win
MrRick
For my Tanfoglio HD gun in 38 Sup, I shoot CFE-P. Like it a lot and nice shoting.

Kosh75287
5.5 - 5.9/Unique/158 LSWC or LRNFP (sized. 356"). Higher load should give you @ 172 PF. I'D start at 5.3/Unique & let a chronograph and pressure signs guide you. I PREFER Alliant Herco or Blue Dot for .38 Super, but until you get some, this load should work.
