Open1215
Hello all. I picked up a p2000 in .40 in a trade. It has the 8lb DAO trigger. I've read up and I just get lost. 2 questions. 1. Does anyone make a sa/da trigger drop in for this? 2. If not, can I get a spring kit to get it to the 5-6lb range? Thank you all.
jeffz
Go over to the HKPro Forums and do a search for a lot of info. I faced the same dilemma. Check what color hammer spring you have. If it is red - it is 15lbs, blue or no color should be 12 lbs. Wolff makes a 10lb replacement. The next thing that needs to be changed is the the firing pin block spring to the light version. All the parts are available at HKParts.net. I went with the 10lb hammer spring and the light FPB spring and it makes a significant difference in the DA pull and lightened the sa by about 1/2 lbs. I hope that helps? Also - think able changing out the magazine release to the extended magazine release, also at HKParts.net, it helps with magazine changes since you don't have to re-position your grip. Open1215
Thank you. That does help. I will leave the slide release, I like this one over the one on the p30l. I can't shoot it without dropping a mag on accident. I will look at a spring swap. Is it possible to change to sa/da?
