gandog56
....Of Mama carping at me about reloading inside the house. I just ordered me a shed kit from Lowe's. I will run electricity out to it, kludge up some kind of heating and cooling, and make me a regular little reloading/man cave .
Reshoot
Humidity will be your worst enemy. I keep my basement reloading room below 60%. Ideally, I want 50 ~ 55%, 24/7.

If you live where it gets COLD & do not keep it constantly heated, The temperature change will cause all things metal to sweat when you turn on the heat. Castiron molds will rust as will dies & other parts & equipment. Stay in the House & wear your ear protection. RangerTrace
I've only been reloading for 5 years or so, but I've always had my stuff in the garage. So far, I've not had any issues......
Hi-Power Jack
I've had my SDB in the garage, in Central Florida, the past five years. No problems, yet.
sniper3
I had the same problem a few months back , nag , nag , nag. So I built a kind of crappy shed out back . She said it gets a little cold out there sometimes at night, maybe I'll get her an extra blanket

Youngeyes
Let me get this straight. You had enough of arguing with the wife and are now building a shed outside? I guess you won that argument...
Garmil
I've been debating doing the same thing. Sounds like a good excuse to get a ductless heat pump with 2 heads 1 for the house and for the reloading room.

dansedgli
I can relate. My 1050 is going out here soon. Freshly built as of last week.
The Donald
I can relate. My 1050 is going out here soon. Freshly built as of last week. I've been thinking on building a 3000 sq ft shop. If I do I'd build a small insulated office inside with some sort of heater/A/C. And real good lighting.

9x45
....Of Mama carping at me about reloading inside the house. Build the shed for yo Mama, you and your re-loader stay inside. My setup is in the laundry room, but I would prefer it in the office or family room.
427Cobra
I live and pay for a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 living room house, reload in the one of the spare bedrooms, go some balls man. Edited December 20, 2015 by 427Cobra
bzt
Im sort of lucky. We have a maids quarters/ laundry room in the garage. ( 1950's house, no maid here) Its insulated, has windows, central air and heat go to it somewhat. I did put a little window unit in for those south Texas summers. It even has a 1/2 bath. So what if I have to share it with the washer and dryer. It is plenty large enough.
Foxbat
I guess I am a lucky guy - wife let me use our 2500sq ft basement pretty much all to myself. Although lately I have been noticing some cookware on my shelves there. A soft reminder of who the boss is?
