bozrdang
I just purchased a S&W 626 Plus .357 Mag with a 5" barrel. I shot some cheap factory 125gr ammo out of it for the first time and loved it. I reload and would like to reload for it too. I have the cases and primers, so I just need some powder and bullets. I am considering purchasing some Speer JHP 158gr from American Reloading. I chose jacketed over plated so I don't have to worry about my load. These bullets have a canelure and I would like to roll crimp them. What dies would be good for this in a Dillon 650? Does Dillon's set include a roll crimp die? What about Lee? Youngeyes
.357 comes with a roll crimp. Semi auto uses a taper crimp. May I ask why you don't have to be worried about the load by using jacketed bullets?
bozrdang
All 357 dies come with a roll crimp? I've read that some people taper crimp them especially with plated bullets. I mean I don't have to worry about running loads that would be too hot for plated bullets.
